Conference
Headquarters/Accommodations. The
Conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel (12400 Greenspoint Drive, Houston, Texas 77060,
USA) in Houston. Time will be allowed within the program's schedule
to take advantage of the scenic locale, and optional pre- and post-conference
activities will be available for conference delegates and their
companions.
Rooms
at the hotel sell out months ahead. Therefore, the Conference secretariat
has reserved the largest possible block of sleeping rooms at the
Hilton Houston North. It is impossible to guarantee that rooms
will be available for late registrants. It is extremely important
that you make your hotel reservation as soon as you know that you
likely to attend the Conference. Conference registrants can reserve
rooms at the Hilton Houston North at the reduced group rate
of $95/night/room plus tax.
Comparable
discounts in rates for suits are available. These rates are good
through June 21, 2010, unless the block sells out before that date.
If an attendee prefers to share a double-beds room with another
attendee, please contact us at env-conference@AASci.org. The hotel
will begin taking reservations on February 1, 2010. To reserve a
room at the Hilton Houston North, call the Hilton's Global Reservations
Center at 1-866-577-1154 (toll-free). To qualify
for the group rate, mention that you are attending the "International
Environmental Conference." . Attendees can access the website

and follow the instructions to make an online reservation.
There is no need to type in a "group code", the group
code for our 2010 conference will already be typed in for you when
you get to this reservation page. A direct link to the reservations

US Government attendees will have to call the hotel to receive the

It
is 7.5 miles (12 KM) from the George Bush Intercontinental Airport
Houston (IAH) to the Hilton Houston North (Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel).

access will be provided for conference attendees at the exhibit
area. It will help the attendees to keep contacts with their families
and affiliation during the conference, and check travel/weather
information before departure.
