Conference
Headquarters/Accommodations. The
Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza (8686 Kirby Dr, Houston,
Texas 77054, USA) in Houston. Time will be allowed within the program's
schedule to take advantage of the scenic locale, and optional pre-
and post-conference activities will be available for conference
delegates and their companions.
Rooms
at the hotel sell out months ahead. Therefore, the Conference secretariat
has reserved the largest possible block of sleeping rooms at the
Crowne Plaza. It is impossible to guarantee that rooms will
be available for late registrants. It is extremely important that
you make your hotel reservation as soon as you know that you likely
to attend the Conference. Conference registrants can reserve rooms
at the Crowne Plaza at the reduced group rate of $99/night/room
plus tax.
Comparable
discounts in rates for suits are available. These rates are good
through May 30, 2014, unless the block sells out before that date.
If an attendee prefers to share a double-beds room with another
attendee, please contact us at env-conference@AASci.org. The hotel
will begin taking reservations on February 1, 2014. To reserve a
room at the Crowne Plaza, call the Crowne Plaza's Reservations Center
at 713-748-3221. To qualify for the group rate, mention that you
are attending the "International Environmental Conference."

There is no need to type in a "group code", the group
code for our 2014 conference will already be typed in for you when
you get to this reservation page. A direct link to the reservations

US Government attendees will have to call the hotel to receive the
government per diem rates. If you have any questions on the reservations,

It
is 29 miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport Houston (IAH)
or 10 miles from Wiliam P. Hobby Airport to the Crowne Plaza Houston
(Medical Center).

access will be provided for conference attendees at the exhibit
area. It will help the attendees to keep contacts with their families
and affiliation during the conference, and check travel/weather
information before departure.
